Its purpose is to celebrate what our Eco Church programme has achieved so far, and to identify improvements we can make to increase its impact in the years ahead. A Rocha UK’s mission is to equip Christians and churches to care for the environment. Eco Church is a crucial part of this.
The growth of Eco Church has been phenomenal, reaching more than 9,000 registered congregations in England and Wales as of May 2026, of which more than 4,500 have achieved a Bronze award or higher.
