We are pleased to share plans for our Community Open Day on Monday 4 May 2026,12pm-4pm, where the church, hall and field will become spaces of welcome, worship and community engagement.
The day will combine an open church with “Faith in the Field” — offering both indoor and outdoor opportunities to encounter faith in accessible and informal ways. Visitors will be free to explore, take part in activities, enjoy hospitality and connect with members of the congregation.
The event aims to:
-Welcome local residents, families and community groups
-Encourage ongoing engagement with the church
-Create relaxed opportunities for conversation and connection
-Share the Christian faith in a gentle and open way
A variety of groups who utilise the church facilities are involved, with performances, stalls and family activities planned throughout the day, alongside a café and raffle supported by local donations. Care for creation will be a key theme, with hands-on activities including planting, seed-making and building wildlife habitats, led in part by our children and families.
