We counted them but there were not 300 there. Some of them have been nibbled by the squirrels who live in the garden. They are very mischievous, just like us sometimes! We often see them running up the trunk of our monkey puzzle tree.
We love coming to Messy Church and get really messy, especially when we are painting. We listen to Bible stories and also talk to God in prayer. Then we share food together.
Last summer we did Messy Church Goes Wild and picked blackberries and elderberries and also acorns and wild flowers. Then we did Messy Church Goes Wild on a Bear Hunt and ate marmalade sandwiches, honey and porridge just like Paddington, Winnie the Pooh and the Three Bears.
We also wrote our own pantomime and performed it to our parents and helpers in February half term. It was Jack and the Beanstalk and we loved dressing up and making our own beanstalk.
We are going to make something special for our 300th Anniversary Service on 31 May . Why not come along and find out what it is?
