Make sure disabled people know that your church offers a welcome

Different coloured shapes with "through the Roof" written on the front in white lettering.

We want everyone to feel welcome at church! For those that have accessibility needs, having a Roofbreaker can be incredibly helpful. They are accessibility advocates or some like to be called disability champions. They give the message to disabled people that they are welcome and can belong in your church or ministry. That’s an important message.  To fill out a form to become a Roofbreaker, please click here. Through the Roof (TTR) also encourages you to share that message by including your church/ministry on Through the Roof’s online map.

Any church or ministry that has a Roofbreaker can feature on our online map so people know that your church is accessible. Joining the map doesn’t mean your church has perfect access or gets everything right, it means you want to welcome disabled people and enable them to be part of your church.

We are updating our map for 2026, so we invite you to check your details on the map or add your church/ministry to it and help disabled people find their place in God’s Kingdom.

Go here to join/update the map and send a positive message to disabled people! It won’t take long to do, and it could make a huge difference to someone who reads about your church and would like to find out more.
