Mission and discipleship are a passion for the West Midlands Synod team, and particularly our Mission Development Officers.
Helping individuals and churches to grow in their relationship with God and to reach out into their communities, to share the love of God and fulfil the Great Commission, motivates all we do (Matthew 28v18-20.)
We are available to meet with individuals or any churches in the Synod, to discern how we can help them, fulfil what God may be calling them to do.
We are keen to encourage church growth, we encourage churches to explore ‘Leading Your Church Into Growth’ (LYCIG), an Anglican initiative which our Synod is partnering with, explore more with this link: https://www.leadingyourchurchintogrowth.org.uk/
We also help churches explore their mission through the Local Mission and Ministry review (LMMR) and the Synod guidelines can be found here.
We are also happy to come to your church and lead training days, on different aspects of mission, including spiritual renewal, prayer, vision and evangelism etc.
Synod is serious about mission and discipleship and is offering mission grants for small or major projects, please contact us if you want to know more, or click here.
