Christ Church URC, Nailsworth had another successful ‘Holiday at Home’ with three days of activities as we imagined we were all aboard the cruise ship ‘Hope of the Seas’. About 45 people enjoyed an excursion to a garden centre as well as a ‘Day at Sea’ and ‘An Afternoon Tea with the Captain’ with live entertainment as we ate. Our Sunday Service was a “cafe-style service” looking at the story of Paul’s Shipwreck on Malta. We then also kept the church decorated for a family craft morning with about 40 adults and children present for boat-themed craft.
